- No houseplants.(I kill them with love over the boring winter.)
- No chameleon plant (ugh. never again... ever), honeysuckle, tansy, ivy, mint... too invasive in this climate (or just I'm too lazy to keep up with it).
- Coneflowers in peach/orange/red
- dayliles
- hostas
- Monkshood
- Black cohosh/ cimicifuga
- Cutting from a hardy yellow rose (is there such a thing?)
- Cutting from a pink lilac bush
- Variegated plant varieties
- "dark" plants
