- Clematis: any bush types or non-yellow nodding/bell-shaped types
- Coleus
- Coreopsis: Mahogney Midget or any dwarf red variety
- Cyclamen: any that are hardy to z7
- Dahlias: any, especially Black Beauty, Collarette Dandy
- Echinacea: Double Decker, Razzmatazz, or any doubles
- Fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium)
- Gazanias: any
- Helleborus: any
- Hibiscus sabdariffa/Roselle
- Lavender: Mailette, Rosea or any pink
- Morning Glory: looking for a double white variety (if one even exists)
