Seeds I have to trade:
- Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis - chinese long bean
Seeds I am looking for:
- herbs
- **anything unusual or that will attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
Plants I have to trade:
- Oxalis Siliquosa [Vulcanicola] - Red Velvet Oxalis - I may have two that have survived.
- Lonicera sempervirens - Coral Honeysuckle - I will be bringing cuttings - several of the dozen that I had rooted suddenly decided to take a nosedive. Not sure what happened.
- Delosperma cooperi - Pink Ice Plant - these will be single stem cuttings that I have rooted.
- Sedum Spurium - Dragon's Blood - these will be small rooted plants.
- Acer saccharinum - Silver Maple tree - approx 1 year old.
- I hope to have a few more things to add to this list, but my garden is still fairly new. I do have some garden art to add - and hope to get some pictures up sometime in the next week or two (if life cooperates...LOL).
Plants I am looking for:
- Japanese maple
- Calla lily - any color as long as its hardy
- Banana tree, cannas, elephant ears - anything tropical looking, I am working on a garden around the hot tub.
- Herbs - cooking is my winter activity while I wait on the outside to come out of hybernation.
- Pond plants
- Lotus - anything different.
- Ground cover that doesn't mind being mowed occasionally, and walked on. I have COMPLETE shade in my backyard - between the extra tall trees, tall wood fence and the bushes growing on the other side of my fence - we get about 1 hour of sun a day (if that).
- Anything that attracts hummingbirds and butterflies
- Varigated monkey grass
- Knock out roses - a very nice lady told me about these at the spring swap - she told me ANYBODY can grow these. Well - okay - I have a place for some - I will give it a try.
