      Trades are 25 seeds, and seeds are chaff free, unless otherwise indicated. Seeds from my garden are all open-pollinated and so may not come true. I mail seeds out within 72 hours of finalizing the trade and always use a bubble mailer. I would appreciate you doing the same for me. -I do not trade internationally; please respect this decision and don't ask me to make an exception.

    • Abutilon indicum , "Monkeybush", "Indian Mallow" -(rare) Hardy to zone 9. Deck/house plant elsewhere. Per Chiltern Seeds: '...This is a new and interesting plant for you to try in your greenhouse (or even outdoors in a sheltered position). Grown either as an annual or perennial, it has attractive, white felted leaves and bears charming yellow flowers on long stalks. 4-8 ft.'
    • Abutilon x hybridum, 'Mobile Pink' Grow as a large shrub in zones 9+ or as a summer container plant elsewhere.
    • Anisodontea x hypomandarum AKA Anisodontea capensis, cape mallow A pretty, floriferous, drought tolerant South African plant hardy to zone 9. Often grown as a summer patio plant and overwintered indoors elsewhere. Overwintering info here. Even more info here.
    • Anomatheca laxa, false freesia. Hardy to zone 8.
    • Aquilegia, 'Magpie' A wonderful old-fashioned black and white columbine.
    • Bartlettina sordida, Purple torch of the clouds
    • Begonia boliviensis, Bolivian begonia. My favorite non-hybrid Begonia. My plant grown by Berkeley Botanical Garden. Hardy to 7b.
    • Borago officinalis alba, white borage -The rare white form.
    • Campanula primulifolia, Spanish Campanula. A very pretty Campanula that should be more widely grown. Hardy to Zone 4.
    • Delphinium grandiflorum, Chinese larkspur Lovely true blue flowers.
    • Digitalis mertonensis, strawberry foxglove
    • Digitalis purpurea alba, white foxglove
    • Eschscholzia californica, California poppy, pink flowering form. From a neighbor's garden. Looks like the 'Purple Gleam' cultivar.
    • Francoa sonchifolia, maiden's wreath. Lovely, clumping shade perennial with long wands of pink blushed flowers once used as wreaths. Hardy to Zone 7.
    • Godetia grandiflora, mixed colors
    • Impatiens balfourii,"Balfours Impatiens", "Poor Man's Orchid" Once popular in old-fashioned, cottage gardens, this easy to grow annual impatiens somehow fell out of favor. -What a shame.

    • Foeniculum vulgare var. purpureum, bronze fennel A wonderful garden accent, herb and butterfly plant. Hardy to zone 4.

    • Fuchsia panniculata A species Fuchsia that looks more like a Lilac.

    • Haloragis erecta 'Wellington Bronze' Striking, shining bronze leaves and an upright form. Good in the border or in a container grouping to add a vertical accent. Hardy to Zone 7/borderline 6.

    • Lepechinia hastata, false salvia An excellent hummingbird plant. Hardy to zone 7.

    • Pachystegia insigni, "Marlborough Rock Daisy". Very beautiful and unusual New Zealand native plant that is hardy to Zone 8.
    • Ratibida columnifera var. pulcherrima, red Mexican hats Hardy to zone 3.
    • Salvia, 'Bright Eyes' This brand new hybrid is truly stunning. I have no idea if it will come true, but I think the offspring should be something interesting.
    • Salvia coccinea, 'Coral Nymph'
    • Salvia confertiflora, red velvet sage. A tender Salvia that should be of interest to Salvia collectors. -15 seeds
    • Salvia subrotunda, hummingbird sage A tender salvia, hardy to zone 9, that is grown as an annual elsewhere, or overwintered by cuttings.
    • Scabiosa Africana, a wonderful species Scabiosa from South Africa.
    • Senecio confusus, Mexican flame vine. Borderline to zone 8.
    • Scabiosa ochroleuca, Cream Scabiosa. Maybe my favorite new plant of 2008! Easy from seed, a first year bloomer and so far not bothered by any pest or weather.
    • Tigridia pavonia (Red flowering), Mexican shell flower, tiger flower. Each flower only lasts a day, but it is quickly replaced by the next. -Really amazingly beautiful blooms. Hardy to zone 8, or in colder zones treat as you would Gladiolus. -Lift the bulbs in autumn and store in dry sand in a cool basement until danger of frost is past.

      • Agapanthus hybrid -blue, Lily of the Nile (plants) Hardy to zone 8/9 but great as an indoor/outdoor container plant elsewhere. These self sow in my garden, so I usually have some good sized seedlings to trade.
      • Anemone x hybrida 'Honorine Jobert' (plants) Hardy to Zone 4. Gorgeous pure white flowers in late summer/early fall.
      • Begonia foliosa var. miniata, fuchsia flowering begonia (cuttings) The Begonia that thinks it's a Fuchsia. Hardy to Zone 9b, where it flowers continuously. Elsewhere, grow as houseplant or bring indoors before frost. -very easy to root.
      • Begonia, Irene Nuss (cuttings) A very old and beautiful cane/angel wing type. See mine at the top of the page.
      • Begonia, 'Maribel Pink Shades' (cuttings) A dainty dragon wing type with beautiful marbled pink and white flowers and very dark burgundy leaves.
      • Begonia richmondensis (cuttings) Leaves are glossy green with red undersides. Bright pink flowers; blooms continuously in my garden. Hardy to 25/30 degrees.

      • Centradenia floribunda, trailing princess flower (rooted starts) Makes a stunning hanging basket or use as a ground cover in Zones 9+.
      • Campanula primulifolia, Spanish Campanula (plants) A very pretty Campanula that should be more widely grown. Hardy to Zone 4.
      • Chasmanthe floribunda, Cobra Lily (corms) Closely related to Crocosmia. Features blazing orange flowers beloved by hummingbirds. Hardy to Zone 9 or grow in a tub and bring in before frost. Corms do not like to be disturbed once planted.
      • Choisya ternata, Mexican orange (cuttings) unusual shrub featuring fragrant foliage and fragrant flowers, similar to those of the mock orange. Hardy to Zone 8.
      • Crassula multicava, fairy crassula (rooted starts) Best in outdoor hanging baskets or as houseplants everywhere except Zones 9 and 10, where it can be grown outdoors as a quickly spreading groundcover. Pink star-like flower clusters form plantlets that fall off or can be detached to start new plants.
      • Dichroa febrifuga, evergreen blue hydrangea (cuttings) Blue evergreen hydrangea. Like the closely related Hydrangea, flower color can be changed to pink or blue through the use of alkaline or acidic fertilizers. Ditto for the color of its metallic berries. Hardy to Zone 8/borderline in 7.

      • Fragaria 'Pink Panda' (plants) Ornamental strawberry with cute pink flowers and the occasional sweet strawberry. Hardy to Zone 5/borderline Zone 4.

      • Iris foetidissima, coral iris (plants) A tough, tough plant for dry shade. hardy to zone 4.
      • Kalanchoe manginii, chandelier plant (cuttings) Makes a wonderful hanging basket. Super easy from cuttings. It is supposedly hardy to Zone 10, but I have been growing it outdoors for years here in Zone 9B.
      • Lychnis coronaria,'Angel's Blush' (plants) Silver foliage and white flowers with a pink eye. Hardy to Zone 4.
      • Lysimachia clethroides, gooseneck loosestrife (plants) Can be quite invasive, but I find it a very useful plant for dry, rooty shade situations. Hardy to Zone 3.
      • Melissa officinalis, lemon balm (plants) makes a wonderful tea. hardy to zone 3.
      • Passiflora, Lavender Lady (cuttings) Hardy to 25/30 degrees. Rarely bothered by caterpillars; so that's good or bad, depending on your purpose (-:
      • Plectranthus argentatus, silver spurflower (cutttings) A wonderful silver foliage plant that can take full shade. Hardy to zone 9; a great annual elsewhere that can be easily overwintered by cuttings. -Very easy to start from cuttings.
      • Plectranthus ciliatus, 'Zulu Wonder' (cuttings) Makes an excellent and unusual house plant with lovely purple-backed leaves and pretty blue flowers. Grow as a ground cover in Zones 9+ or as an outdoor annual in colder Zones. Extremely easy from cuttings.
      • Pulmonaria longifolia ssp. cevennensis, lungwort (small plants) Elegant silver splashed sword shaped leaves and vivid blue and pink flowers. Hardy to Zone 4.
      • Rubus parviflorus, western thimbleberry (rooted) A pretty plant, native from Alaska to California.
      • Salvia elegans, pineapple sage (rooted starts) A useful and beautiful herb, beloved by hummingbirds. Hardy to Zone 8 or carry over as cuttings in winter.
