Seeds I have to trade:

  • I have an extensive inventory of seeds, too many to easily list here and keep updated. Regarding my recent post in the Seed Exchange, if you have something of interest to me and would like to trade then I will be happy to work closely with you regarding what your interests are or what you are seeking to acquire. Seeds I am looking for:

  • No ornamentals please - not that I don't like them. My hobbies got a bit out of control so I have chosen to focus on herbs and edibles.

  • To put it quite simply, I am open to trading for herbs and edibles that will produce in my short-season zone 4 climate. I would be happy to look at your seed list, or you can continue reading on of my specific interests.

  • Heirloom, rare, foreign, unique, or unusual varieties of edibles.
  • Native North American north-climate edibles such as Prairie Turnip (Psoralea esculenta), Indian Potato (Apios tuberosa), Yampa (Perideridia gairdneri), etc.

  • Cold weather/short season OP or hybrid tomato varieties.
  • Large OP or hybrid paste and saladette tomato varieties such as "Mariana" hybrid and "Opalka".
  • "Moby Grape" hybrid grape tomato.
  • Any new hybrid tomato variety that is bred for resistance to Septoria lycopersici Leaf Spot.
  • Hot and Very Hot peppers such as Naga, Bih, Borbih, Butch T, Nagahari, Savina, Trinidad Scorpion, Seven Pot, Bulgarian Carrot, Fatali, Mustard Hab, Jamaican Red Mushroom, etc.
