Seeds I have to trade:

  • I grow a large garden and provide most of my family's vegetables and a lot of food for my chickens. Live in Zone 7. Especially looking for rare, heirloom beans and tomatoes. Also, need a good heirloom sweet corn. I grow Golden Bantam, but would like a high yielder with even kernels that is a little sweeter.
  • Seeds to trade
  • All seeds are heirloom and almost all were collected by us from our own almost organic garden. Most seeds are packaged for 2014/collected in 2013. I will try to mark any older seeds.
  • Vegetable
  • Beans, Dry-Navy, Pinto, Black, Vermont Cranberry, Great Northern
  • Corn- Silvermine Dent (perfect for cornbread, chips, tortillas, etc., One of the top producing heirloom varieties that set several records in the late 1800's)
  • Cowpeas-Crowder Peas (similar to Black Eyed Peas in taste, but are brown, passed down to me by my grandpa)
  • Cucumber-Boston Pickling
  • Collards-Southern
  • Kale-Dwarf Siberian
  • Lettuce-Black Seeded Simpson, Tom Thumb
  • Okra-Clemson Spineless
  • Pepper-Red Cayenne 2011
  • Pumpkin-Connecticut Field, Pie, Pump Ke Mon (H2), Lumina, Jarrahdale, some small ornamentals
  • Winter Squash-Cushaw, Spaghetti, Jumbo Pink Banana, several others
  • Winter Squash-Pennsylvania Dutch Crookneck (aka. Long Necked Pumpkin, in the butternut familiy) x ? (result is a medium pumpkin, high yields and drought resistant in H1, this is H2)
  • Flower - Echinecea-Purple Cone
  • Flower - Marigold-Standard Mix
  • Also, willing to trade homemade goat's milk lye soap, custom knives and collectible postcards for seeds and other items listed below.
