  • High postage costs and the work with involved packaging make local plant deals very appealing. Packaging and Shipping make multiple item plant trades more practical. Flat rate boxes work well for large numbers of heavy plants and long shipping distances. I have been complimented on how many healthy plants I am able to pack in these boxes!
  • Winter trades may be postponed due to frozen ground and snow
  • Summer trades may be delayed due to heat which can stress some plants
  • Detailed communication involving exchanging many e-mails is essential for setting up plant trades so that each trader has a clear understanding of expectations so that there is no disappointment for anyone
