Seeds I have to trade:
- UPDATED 2-20-12
- Thanks for looking! My list is always a work in progress...
- All of my seeds are open pollinated. I collect, trade, and replant more than I purchase.
- Some colors evolve over time. So, I've tried to list the colors I saw last year.
- I'm in Zone 5b/Central Illinois. Mostly hot/humid summers, soggy/cold spring and fall, very cold/dry winter.
- My native soil is mostly silt and sand; fast draining, often too dry, and alkaline.
- Plants listed in green are my native wildflowers(weeds) or cultivars of natives.
- Plants listed in red may be invasive in milder climates.
- Feel free to correct me. My annuals might be your invasive perennials.
- C = commercial seed, T = traded seed, G = grown/collected from my garden or elsewhere, :year collected
- Anything with FREE in front can go for 3 first class stamps:
- <> Just send stamps in a regular envelope. I have more BE's than I'll ever use.
- <> Large Envelope Postage: less than 12 X 15 X 3/4 inches
- .......................... 6x9 BE to 1 oz. = 2 first class stamps
- .......................... 1 oz. to 3 oz. = 3 first class stamps
- <> I will send as much seed as I can fit in a 6x9 BE - up to three ounces.
- <> That's 6-8 kinds of seed, depending on the variety. More or less if the seeds are fat.
- <> Don't be shy...rate your choices, amounts, and alternates. Ask about trades...
- <> Any/otherwise, I'll send what I have and not waste postage. :)
- <> Be sure to include your GW name, address, and seed request.
- For TRADES or FREE:
- <> Please, be patient...I may take a day or two to reply or send stuff. That's ASAP for me and my internet access (VERY SLOW).
- <> Include your GW name on everything you send. It will prevent a lot of confusion.
- <> Use "reply". It will make the conversation easier to follow.
- <> Please PM if there is a problem or delay. I will too.
