Seeds I have to trade:

  • Bachelor's Buttons (7-14) large 42" bushy parent -small white flowers
  • Lions Tail (10-13) hardy easy to grow, orange headed seed balls, interesting flowers
  • Mulberry tree seeds (6-14) good germination rate, great old parent tree
  • Red Okra (10-13) easy to grow, beautiful flowers
  • Wisteria Seeds refrigerated (1-13) and (1-14) Large 'tree' 25 yr old Chinese style, a challenge to germinate but the seeds are viable.
  • Yellow Cosmos (7-14) medium size
  • Orange Cosmos (7-14) medium size
  • Blue morning glory (10-13) hardy easy to grow (warning they are reseeders)
  • Catalpa seed pod (each pod 30+ seeds) (10-13) Beautiful sweet scented flowers, a challenge to germinate but
  • maybe worth it if you plan to live in your house for a good while, I really like my tree. Have pics.
  • Clematis- white and burgandy (7-13)
  • Here are some seeds I received from others in quantities greater than I can use.
  • Verbena hastata 'Rosea' Rose Vervain
  • Chinese Scilla
  • Verbena Brazilian
  • River Oats, Chasmanthium latifolium


Seeds I am looking for:

  • I am partial to anything that flowers in the color orange.
  • Interested in anything that is a favorite of yours,
  • especially if you can provide your experience and
  • guidance/advice/instruction on germination and planting
  • Wine Neck Gourd seeds (large, long neck) Given time investment required for gourds I would ask for a picture
  • Clematis
  • Grasses native to East Coast US
  • Cosmos and Zinnias are old favorites so anything interesting


Plants I have to trade:

  • Horseradish root cutting, very hardy (I eat the greens too) warning: don't plant in your garden
  • Lions tail 4" plants
  • Mulberry tree 1 to 2 " (from seed) I also have a cutting that is only partially rooted but the parent plant is a large 17 yrld tree which produces fairly sweet berries.
  • Cereus - Night Blooming- have a large, healthy, hardy 14 yrld Cereus plant for leaf cuttings. Periodically have some rooted cuttings.
